Lead Instructor:

Donna Smith is the AmeriCOM Secondary Education Coordinator and a retired science teacher from Gates Chili Central School district in western New York State. She is the 2016 recipient of the Educator of the Year Award from the Rochester Regional Photonics Cluster for her career inspiring students to embrace the study of optics, photonics, and imaging sciences and guiding them in career development.
