Text, Voice and Email Alerts

The Rave Alert System is a service used for sending timely information to our students, faculty, staff, and other members of the campus community. Using Rave Alert, supplied by Rave Wireless, we are able to disseminate timely notifications to thousands of people via multiple communication channels, including: mobile text alerts, email, and recorded voice messages. The system can distribute an alert to the entire campus community in the case of an emergency or a closure due to inclement weather. You can take advantage of this helpful service by registering at

Unable to register? Your SCCC email may already be registered. If you are a student, faculty or staff member, your college email address is most likely already in the system. If this is the case, click “Forgot username or password?” under the login, and enter in your Sussex County Community College email address on the following screen. Instructions to changing your password and accessing your account will be sent to your email.

Once you have logged into your account, you can add your cell phone number to recieve instant texts, a land line number for voice recordings, and other email addresses. You may also want to sign up and recieve alerts for clubs, groups, and other events on campus so you’ll never be out of the loop.
