Institutional Research

The Office of Institutional Research and Assessment has primary responsibility for preparing and submitting official reports/data files to ensure the institution’s compliance with state and federal reporting mandates on all institutional functions.  The office is charged with collecting and analyzing information used in strategic planning efforts by SCCC administrators, faculty and Board of Trustees. The office is also responsible for coordinating and consulting on the strategic and unit-level planning and assessment processes of both academic and administrative areas to ultimately support the college’s overall planning and quality improvement efforts. This information is disseminated to the college community through a variety of annual reports, informal correspondences, and responses to ad hoc requests.  In addition, the office coordinates the college’s responses to a variety of other external requests for information that are received from the media, philanthropic organizations, local government and more.
