Statement of Purpose:
The Institutional Research and Assessment Office serves as the primary provider of data and information needed to direct policy and support Sussex County Community College’s vision, mission, and values. It is also charged with the coordination of assessment, strategic planning, and departmental planning activities at the college, while serving as consultant relating to such activities. The information and guidance provided by the Office of Institutional Research and Assessment is used by all constituencies to enable them in making effective decisions in developing new, or improving upon existing, programs and processes.
Mission Statement:
The mission of the Office of Institutional Research and Assessment is to assist Sussex County Community College in achieving its goals by providing comprehensive information to support institutional planning, policy formation, decision-making, and evaluation of effectiveness.
