Program Description

This program is structured to provide fundamental knowledge of information technology and the skills necessary to succeed in today’s business environment. This degree is not for transfer. The program is designed to prepare students for entry-level positions in business, industry, government and not-for-profit organizations. Upon completion of this program, graduates will be able to:

■ Demonstrate the ability to solve technical problems related to hardware and software.

■ Demonstrate an understanding of operating systems.

■ Develop effective communication skills within an organization.

■ Demonstrate the ability to work both individually and as a team member.

■ Exhibit professionalism and ethical behavior.

■ Adapt to advancements in the area of information technology.
