This option under the AA in Liberal Arts prepares students for transfer to a four-year
College with a major in Theatre Arts. The curriculum provides students with the theoretical and practical knowledge to work on and off-stage, as well as general education courses in the liberal arts. Students are expected to become involved in the technical, managerial and performance aspects of theatre production through participation in workshops and productions.
Seeking career opportunities in the theatre is highly dependent on individual talent. The degree option enhances the employment prospects of talented students through general education and the development of artistic techniques. Students majoring in Dramatic Arts are given the opportunity to participate in college productions.
