The men's soccer team defeated County College of Morris 4-0 on Thursday, September 11 to improve their record to 2-1. Travis Eustace (Vernon, NJ) scored 2, while Matt Zupkay (Hampton, NJ) and Finn Clifford (Woodleigh, Australia) added to the goal tally also.  Kevin Knissel (Hampton, NJ) and Carmine Caruso (Adelaide, Australia) both had 2 assists.  GK Joshua Gates (Brighton, Australia) had 4 saves and recorded his second shut out of the season. 5/16/2014 - Six student athletes qualified as Academic All Americans for the 2013-2014 academic year.  The criteria for an Academic All American is to have at least 3 full time semesters, at least 45 cumulative credits, and a cumulative GPA of 3.60 or higher. Developmental/remedial coursework is not included to meet the requirements. There are 3 categories for the academic award: Pinnacle (4.0 GPA), Superior (3.80-3.99 GPA), and Exemplary (3.60-3.79 GPA). The men's soccer team defeated the County College of Morris 1-0 on Saturday to advance to the next round of the NJCAA Region XIX Tournament.  Vito Cornish scored the late winner after Sussex dominated play throughout the game, creating many more chances than their rivals.  Brad Van Treuren had the assist.
