Gashouse Gorillas
Gas House Gorillas hail from New Jersey and wear leather caps and kilts with Rick Fink on lead vocals, Crusher Carmean on bass, Oscar Rodriguez on guitar and Eddie Everett on drums.
There’s is an interesting sound, a mix of jump blues, rock and roll, and even a pop punk edge.

Rick Fink on vocal – Fink found his calling when he formed the Gas House Gorillas. His song writing skills and boundless high energy performances blur the lines that separate Jump Blues, Rock, and vintage Rhythm & Blues, creating an experience that can only be had at a Gorillas’ show. He has had a major label deal (Sony Records), a management deal, and several independent releases to his credit.

Crusher Carmean on  bass – Named “Crusher” because of his penchant for turning a perfectly good instrument into kindling, Carmean is a thrill to watch. He finally had to build something that could withstand the kicking, spinning and tossing that his trademark aluminum bass endures on a nightly basis. Crusher has played with Sleepy LaBeef, the Razorbacks, the Rockats and was the founding member of the Crescent City Maulers.

Oscar Rodriguez on guitar – At the age of 24, Oscar  has been tearing up the fret board for nearly 9 years building a solid reputation locally as an amazingly versatile musician. He has studied with Gary Lucas (from Captain Beefheart) and shared the stage with famed saxophonist Greg Osby among others.

Eddie Everett on drums – Eddie is a killer drummer and been with the band for 5 years. In addition to his fine skills as a musician and has played venues all over the world performing with artists like Brian Setzer, Wanda Jackson, David Bromberg, Tommy Conwell and The Rockats.

Ready Steady 60s

Ready Steady 60s

‘Ready Steady 60s!’, a five-person band of veteran NY/NJ area musicians and singers, share a collective passion for the music of The Sixties. In addition to playing classics with amazing fidelity to the originals, Ready Steady 60s! gives a multimedia show that immerses the audience in the heady days of the 1960s.

“It was an era of incredible innovation and creativity in popular music and in our whole culture” says lead singer and founder Kevin Richards’. Along with the Beatles, all the bands of that period were some of of the biggest driving forces for change in all aspects of our lives. Those heavenly harmonies, the beats, and those fantastic songs sound just as fresh and vital today as when they were first created.

“We’re not the typical 60s tribute band in that we don’t try to exactly copy the look of any particular band or person of the ere,” says bassist Kerri Freda. “But we do try to evoke the spirit of the times in our dress, our overall manner, and above all in our playing and singing. We use the original instruments, drums and amps to recapture that classic 60s sound.“

‘Ready Steady 60s!’ is perfectly suited to performances at medium to large clubs, county fairs and festivals, 60s theme weddings, parties and corporate events, and school reunions. “We really enjoy playing for schools and charities in the New York/New Jersey/Pennsylvania area“ keyboardist Steve Goodman noted.
