Skylands Professional Training

In an effort to strengthen economic development in the Northwest New Jersey region, Sussex County Community College and Warren County Community College signed a partnership agreement that will offer area residents an opportunity to take advantage of certification programs and non-credit courses.

SPT also offers  Summer Youth Enrichment Program starting in July.

You may be eligible to receive funding for job skills training if you are unemployed, under-employed, working part-time, or receiving public assistance. To determine you eligibility, please call for more information:

To be eligible for this program, you must:

  1. Be a legal NJ resident, 18 years or older and have a HS diploma, GED, or higher.
  2. Have been unemployed or underemployed for six months or longer.
  3. Have experience and/or skills applicable in current job market or interest to begin a new career
  4. Have official proof of unemployment or underemployment status.

Refunds and Fees

Refund policy: You may withdraw three business days prior to the first day of class in order to receive a refund minus a $15.00 processing fee (unless the institution cancels the class).  No refunds will be issued after this deadline. Checks unable to be processed will incur a $25.00 fee.

Students are responsible for the balance of tuition and fees in the event they terminate payment plans or private loans.

  • For class start day on a Monday, you should call 908-689-7613 on or before the previous Wednesday.
  • For class start day on a Tuesday, you should call 908-689-7613 on or before the previous Thursday.
  • For class start day on a Wednesday, you should call 908-689-7613 on or before the previous Thursday.
  • For class start day on a Thursday, you should call 908-689-7613 on or before the previous Monday.
