Computer Skills for Business with MOS Certification
February 6 through May 15, 2017 – Tuesday, Thursday 9:00 am to 4:30 pm, and Friday 9:00 am to 3:30 pm
This intensive 240-hour program prepares the student for a career in today’s ever-changing business environment. The majority of occupations today require computer proficiency as well as other professional skills. The goal of this course is to graduate each student with skills that are sought after in any industry. MS Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook 2013 are covered with emphasis on preparing the student for Microsoft’s Word and Excel MOS (Microsoft Office Specialist) Certification. Other professional skills such as Business Writing, Customer Service and Soft skills are covered to present a marketable set of skills to employers. Writing a resume and job search training is included. Prerequisites: High school graduate or GED and basic computer skills. $3,120 plus textbooks.
