Students at Sussex County Community College (SCCC) have been busy trying to collect donations for causes around the county and around the world. Several different clubs have taken on causes to support this spring.

The Criminal Justice Club and UMADD are working together to collect clothing and stuffed animals to send to underprivileged families in Eastern Europe. The last time the clubs held this drive, the club was able to donate one hundred bags of clothing and stuffed animals. This clothing drive will run until May 2nd.

The Health Science classes are working together to collect gently used business attire for the struggling unemployed of the community. This drive will also run until May.

Lambda Epsilon Chi (LEX), the paralegal honor society is holding a food drive for Project Self Sufficiency. For the next eight weeks, marked cardboard boxes will be available near the entrances of the E, B, and D building to place non-perishable food items or baby supplies.

SCCC takes pride in the time and energy students sacrifice to support their community.
