NEWTON, NJ – The Student Government Association (SGA) at Sussex County Community College (SCCC) is hosting a Halloween party and haunted hayride for community members of all ages on Friday, October 26th. They will host a children’s party in the cafeteria, located in the Student Center, Building D, from 6 pm-9 pm. There will be games and activities which are run by SCCC students. The haunted hayride will run from 6 pm-10 pm. Adults and children of all ages are invited to take a haunted hayride around the campus as students help to act out a horror story along the way. Snacks along with a hot chocolate and coffee bar will also be provided in the cafeteria. This event is free for all who attend. Don’t forget to bring a non-perishable food item to contribute to the local food pantry.
“This is one of our favorite events at the college because it is a manner to give back to our community as well as our students. We are looking forward to the Haunted Hayride and it is our hope all will come and enjoy the event with us,” says SGA secretary, Cristina Medina.
