SCCC’s New Criminal Justice Certificate for Law Enforcement Professionals

NEWTON, NJ – Sussex County Community College (SCCC) is excited to announce the addition of a unique Criminal Justice Certificate in cooperation with the Sussex County Sheriff’s Office. This certificate program will begin January 22, 2013 and be available online to all law enforcement professionals.

The program, which has received positive feedback from area personnel, is designed for law enforcement professionals who are looking for the necessary training to succeed in professional public leadership roles such as lieutenant, sergeant, detective and other supervisory positions.

This certificate is a four-part module leadership program with each module running 7 weeks in length and with all classes held conveniently online. The program is designed to provide a complete package of leadership skills for law enforcement personnel including Basics of Leadership and Theories, Identifying Power and Influences, Personal Development, Theories of Individual Motivation, Organizational Leadership, Developing a Culture of Integrity, Ethics and Leadership along with many other necessary skills.
