Sussex County Community College (SCCC) has over 100 scholarships that are available to students and incoming students ranging from $250 to $2,000 for the Spring 2017 semester. These scholarships are available through the SCCC Foundation.
Applications are available online at sussex.edu/scholarships and in SCCC’s Advising and Counseling Center. To apply for a scholarship, students must complete a scholarship application packet in addition to submitting a personal essay. Students are also required to provide a letter of recommendation in support of their candidacy.
“I encourage everyone to apply for a scholarship. It could be the difference between you attending school for the semester or taking a break. If it weren’t for the generosity of others, I would not be pursuing my dreams. Even if it is as little as one class, a scholarship made the difference and allowed me to have lasting experiences and make wonderful relationships that will last a lifetime.” Jessica, SCCC Student and Scholarship Recipient.
Students should return their completed application to the Advising and Counseling Center, Administration Building, Room B206 by Tuesday, October 18 at 5:00 p.m. Questions can be directed to the SCCC Foundation at 973-300-2121.
