For current, transfer, and prospective students who want to earn a “few credits” quickly, the winterim semester at Sussex County Community College makes total sense.

Taking a course or two in this shortened version of a semester can lighten the load down the line. It also allows students to take advantage of learning, while home from a four-year institution, at an affordable price. With a range of classes, this two and a half week semester, which runs from Jan. 3  to Jan. 19 this year, is perfect for full and part-time students.

Registration opens to the community on Monday, November 28 for both the winterim semester and the spring 2017 semester as well. New, and transfer students are invited to register at that time. Prospective and visiting students can apply online, or contact for more information.

The spring semester begins on January 23 and runs through mid-May. Registration for both of these semesters continue until the start of classes, but early registration is encouraged as classes tend to fill up quickly.
