Health Career Night to be held at WCCC

A Health Career Information Night will be held at Warren County Community College (WCCC) on Thursday, February 2 from 6:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. at the WCCC Phillipsburg Education Center. Career opportunities will be discussed for courses held through the Skylands Professional Training, a partnership with Sussex and Warren County Community Colleges.

Career training held at Sussex County Community College (SCCC) includes: Chiropractic Assistant, EKG Technician, Essentials of Personal Training, Histology Assistant Program, Pharmacy Compounding and Sterile Preparations, Pharmacy Technician, Phlebotomy Technician, and Veterinary Assistant.

Additional career paths held at Warren County Community College includes: Administrative & Clinical, Dialysis Technician, Medical Assistant, Nurse’s Aide, Pilates Instructor Certification, Dental Assistant, ER/Patient Care Tech, Therapeutic Massage Certificate Program, Medical Office Administrative Coordinator, Physical Therapy Aide, Certified Home Health Aide, Dental Radiology, and Personal Trainer Exam Prep.

The healthcare industry continues to grow rapidly. Entering a career as a healthcare professional can be both rewarding and challenging. There are numerous opportunities for growth and advancement in this field plus a chance to make a difference in the lives of people in need.

Attend this informal gathering in Room P110/111 and gain the information needed to achieve educational and employment goals. Funding information will be discussed for Career Training Programs for eligible candidates. High school students and recent graduates are welcome.

The Health Career Information Night is presented by WCCC Continuing Education Department and will be held in Room P110/111 at 445 Marshall St. Phillipsburg, NJ.
