Sussex County Community College (SCCC) is opening their registration for summer sessions earlier than in previous years. SCCC is accepting registrations for their two summer sessions for all current, visiting and new students starting February 13.
These summer sessions are open to anyone looking to attain college credits. These credits can be transferred to any college or university provided the accepting institution approves of the course. There are two separate summer sessions available with:
Summer I running May 22 thru June 26
Summer II running July 10 thru August 10
SCCC’s tuition allows students to complete general education requirements at a substantial savings. Courses for the summer sessions include Algebra, Anatomy & Physiology I, Art History, Biology, Calculus, Chemistry, Computer Concepts, Effective Speaking, English Composition I & II, Macroeconomics, Psychology, Sociology, Statistics, US History and many more. Students have a choice of attending morning and/or evening classes with some courses available online.
High school students can also get a jump on their college education once they graduate by taking a course in the Summer II Session. This offers them a way to start college courses before heading off to a 4-year college. For those students attending SCCC first, this gives them the perfect way to get ahead.
Applications, course schedules, information and instructions can be found online at sussex.edu/summer. For more information or assistance, please contact the SCCC Admissions department by phone at (973) 300-2223 or by email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
