If you are looking for work and need help finding a job then think about attending the Sussex County Community College’s Business Skills & Networking Event. The Event is being held on Saturday, May 6 from 12 p.m. until 5 p.m. in the Performing Arts Center.

The Event will begin with a meet and greet of local businesses and organizations who will share upcoming job opportunities. A “Leadership” workshop presented by Dr. Jon Connolly, SCCC president, will take place at 12:30 p.m. Attendees can also improve their chances of landing a job at the “Learning Job Search Strategies” workshop or receive expert advice at the Resume Writing workshop. A special Keynote presentation on “How to Start and Grow Your Business” will be presented by Onset Worldwide, an importer and distributor of natural agricultural ingredients to the food and non-food industry. Networking will be available throughout the day’s events.

The Business Skills & Networking Event is free and open to the public and is sponsored by the SCCC Business Department and Business Club. This program is partially funded by a TAACCCT-4 Grant from the US Department of Labor’s (DOL) Employment and Training Administration.
