Peter Feroney Holds the SCCC record for most career hits

Jared Quintero was named to the NJCAA 1st Team All Region XIX

Jill Pullis holds the season and career assists record at SCCC

Sussex County Community College is proud and excited to announce that three Skylanders have signed National Letters of Intent to play at the NCAA. Division I level this upcoming fall.  Jill Pullis (Women’s Soccer),
Peter  Ferony (Baseball), and Jared Quintero (Baseball) have all signed to play for St. Peter’s University (Jersey City, NJ) for the upcoming 2017/2018 year.

Pullis (Vernon, NJ) has been a stand out player and captain for the SCCC Women’s Soccer program and currently holds the school record for assists in a single season as well as the career assist record.  Jill was ranked in the top 5 in the nation for NJCAA DI women’s soccer players for assists this past season, is a NJCAA Region XIX champion, and has competed in two NJCAA District E Tournaments.  Jill will pursue a Bachelor’s Degree in Primary Education at St. Peter’s.

Peter Ferony  (West Milford, NJ) was a 2 year starter for the SCCC Baseball program and has been an integral player in the team’s success over the past two seasons.  He currently holds the record for most hits in a career at Sussex County Community College and was named to the NJCAA 1st Team for Region XIX and the GSAC as an infielder.  Peter will pursue a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management at St. Peter’s.

Jared Quintero ( Paterson, NJ) was also a 2 year starter for the SCCC Baseball program.  Jared was a leader on and off the field for the Skylanders and had many roles in the team, including 1st Base, Right Field, and as a starting pitcher.  Jared was named to the NJCAA 1st Team for Region XIX and the GSAC this past season, and will pursue a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology at St. Peter’s.
