Horton Pantry supports SCCC students

Article Posted -- September 6, 2017

The Horton Pantry was created to serve SCCC students. For students in need of food, please stop by and pick up a bag during hours of operation. The Pantry is located in the Student Center Building, Rm D111a and is open Mondays from 6-8 pm. If you are unable to come during these hours, please reach out to the Campus Life Office for other arrangements.

Each food bag will feed a family of four for about three to four days. It is considered supplementary to a healthy, balanced diet of fresh produce and proteins. The Horton Pantry has partnerships with larger local food pantries that can provide supplementary fresh foods.

Volunteers are always needed to assemble food bags, coordinate deliveries, and to staff the pantry during opening hours. Non-perishable food donations will be accepted. Tax deductible monetary donations can also be made at https://commerce.cashnet.com/sussexfoundationpay or by check.
