Customer Service Skills Certificate offered through SPT

A strong customer service background is an important way to stand out in a crowd, particularly in business. In fact, good customer service is a necessity for nearly any occupation. Skylands Professional Training, a regional partnership between Warren and Sussex County Community Colleges, is offering a three day certificate program which includes active listening skills, questioning techniques, telephone etiquette, overall professionalism, keys to relationship building, developing rapport, organizing and writing with purpose, email etiquette, problem solving, and how to stay calm, no matter the situation.

The course, Customer Service Excellence – Maximize Your Communication Skills, takes place on  October 10, 11 and 13, starting at 9 a.m. each day until 4:30 p.m. the first two days, and 3:30 p.m. on the final day. The cost of the program is $199 and will be held at Sussex County Community College in Newton, NJ.
