SCCC holiday movies canceled

These movie nights have been canceled. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

Please join Sussex County Community College as we get into the holiday spirit. The College will be showing three holiday classics in the month of December. Hosted by the Gender and Sexuality Alliance, the following movies will be shown at 6:00 pm and all are free and open to community members.

  • December 7, Student Center Theater, 6 pm: “It’s a Wonderful Life” – When George Bailey (James Stewart) wishes he had never been born, an angel is sent down from Heaven to help him realize what a mistake that would be. George begins to understand how valuable his life is and how much he affected people around him.
  • December 14, Student Center Dining Room, 6 pm: “Eight Crazy Nights – Davey Stone (Adam Sandler), is a party animal. When he finds himself in trouble with the law, the judge grants Davey one last chance to clean up his act. He is required to spend the holiday performing community service as the assistant referee for the youth basketball league or go to jail. Davey thinks he’s gotten off easy until he meets Whitey Duvall, the eccentric, elf-like head referee.
  • December 21, Student Center Dining Room, 6 pm :The Nightmare Before Christmas” – This Tim Burton film follow Jack Skellington, Halloweentown’s pumpkin king. Jack becomes very bored with his everyday life of scaring people in the “real world.” He stumbles on Christmastown and gets a new lease on his life — he looks to take Santa under his control and take over Christmas.
