SCCC slates Computerized Accounting courses

This spring, Sussex County Community College, through Skylands Professional Training will be offering Computerized Accounting courses. Completion of this program will help students obtain employment in the accounting field.

The program mainly focuses on accounting procedures and QuickBooks but will also cover many other related accounting functions.

Students will learn MS Windows, Word and then Excel and eventually move on to basic accounting principles and QuickBooks Pro. Assignments in the class will be workplace based to prepare students for actual employment. Topics covered will include accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll and many more.
