Audiobooks
We still offer downloadable audiobooks for both your pleasure “reading” and to use in conjunction with assignments. There are a number of “classics” available to you and your students.
Popular Fiction and Non-Fiction
We also now provide a collection of popular fiction and non-fiction titles so that you do not necessarily have to make an extra stop at your local public library. The collection is comprised of New York Times bestsellers, and grows by 10 or so titles each month. The current collection is approximately 200 titles.
Library Instruction
The library continues to adapt library instruction in response to library conditions and student needs. We hope to improve the efficiency of our service and offer more sophisticated instruction to upper-level students.
We hope to offer basic library instruction judiciously. Often these classes are offered to Freshman Seminar and Composition I students before the students have topics for research. Students cannot get the full benefit of these classes without a frame of reference.
LIBRARY INSTRUCTION SCHEDULE
Note: When calling or emailing your request (you can also schedule online using the form provided, just click the “Ask-A-Librarian” link, please have the day and time you would like chosen (see chart below). Supervised research sessions can be scheduled for times between these periods.
