Thursdays on the Green is a FREE concert series, sponsored in part by The Horizon Foundation for New Jersey and the Sussex County Arts & Heritage Council, that has been a summer tradition for hundreds of Sussex County residents for ten years. In addition to fabulous music, guests enjoy a family festival with vendors, artisans, giveaways and more.
The summer program began in 2002 as Music on the Green, with the name changing in 2003 to Thursdays on the Green as the series began to integrate theatrical performances and movies. A dance floor sits in front of the stage and guests are encouraged to bring blankets and chairs to enjoy the show. Vendors open at 6:00 pm and the performance begins at 6:30 pm, rain or shine. Refreshments are available for purchase with a portion of the proceeds benefiting scholarships at the College. Handicap parking is available.
For information on sponsorship please contact Bryan Zellmer, Assistant Director of Cultural Affairs, at 973-300-2360.
