College for Working Adults

The College for Working Adults program has now been expanded to include all college credited degrees and certificates available at SCCC. Adult students will work with an advisor who specializes in helping adults develop and implement a degree or certificate completion plan. Students will meet initially with the advisor who will evaluate any prior credits you may have and put together a semester by semester plan in order to finish as soon as possible. Your advisor will help you every step of the way – from registration to graduation!

Program Highlights:

  • An advisor who recognizes the unique needs of the adult student – one person to go to for assistance – available in-person, by phone, or e-mail.
  • We will evaluate any college credits that you may already have, then develop a semester by semester completion plan so you know when you can expect to graduate. You will see the “light at the end of the tunnel.”
  • Easy online registering.
  • All courses in the college open to the College for Working Adults students, especially evening, hybrid and online courses offered each semester.

Program Requirements:

  • 21 years of age or older
  • Part-time student (3-9 credits each semester)
  • Students interested in completing a college credited degree or certificate
