Career Options

Recipients of the Medical Assistant Certificate can find employment in local hospitals, medical offices and other ambulatory healthcare facilities. Why this career is booming: As the baby boomer generation ages and needs more preventive medical services, doctors look to hire more certified medical assistants to complete routine administrative and clinical duties, says the Department of Labor.
