“I chose SCCC because it was affordable, close to home, also because SCCC offers a wide range of class times. This not only fit me financially it also fit my schedule as a single mother of three boys. Also there are many scholarships available to non-traditional students.
I love the small class vibe and the close connection between professors to students.
After I graduate from SCCC with my Liberal Arts/Nursing degree I plan on working in the field for one to two years. Then I plan on going to medical school to become a cardiologist.
I was worried about returning to college after so long and SCCC has made my experience of going back to college an easy/smooth transition. Many programs were offered to me and I took them. Now I am working in the field of Phlebotomy (after completing the program at SCCC) and I am loving every minute. I get to make someone feel at ease. The staff and professors are always willing to help and guide you in the right direction”
