Online textbook orders can be placed with credit card payment and can be picked up at the store or shipped via FedEx (FedEx ground shipping fees are additional and will be included in the price with orders requesting shipping).

The bookstore offers some educationally priced software in store and there is a link of the bookstore website for software discounts through JourneyEd. This company offers thousands of titles with discounts up to 85% off. Proof of student enrollment is required.
- No food or beverages are allowed in the bookstore. These items must be left outside of the store.
- Backpacks, shopping bags, book bags, textbooks and totes must be left in the drop area just inside the entrance to the store. The bookstore is not responsible for items left in the drop area. Purses are allowed in the store proper
- Students must present college photo ID when purchasing or returning against their financial aid.
Return and Buyback Policies
The bookstore buys books back everyday. Photo Student ID Card required. Please listen and pay attention to the bookstore return policies as they are clearly printed on sales receipts and verbalized to each customer. For all semesters any textbook returns must be accompanied by the original sales receipt and the books must be in original, resalable condition. If shrinkwrap is removed from packaged books or there is any damaged the bookstore cannot accept the return.
This store carries some netbooks and laptop computers and software in-house. Please go to the software link on efollett.com which will link to JourneyEd. JourneyEd offers thousands of titles of educational priced/discounted software with proof of current college enrollment.
All apparel and gift returns must be done within 5 business days of purchase with a receipt and must be in original saleable condition.
All sales are final on all non-textbook items, such as dictionaries, supplies, and reference materials.

For efollett.com orders: orders must be returned based on the following guidelines:
- Fill out the return portion of the paperwork included with the shipment.
- Pack the return securely in a carton to avoid damage in shipment
- Include the completed paperwork in the shipment to ensure proper credit
- Shipping charges are not refundable
- Ship via USPS insured or FEDEX ground to the address on the paperwork
- Returns must be postmarked by the return deadline for in-store purchases
All Summer returns or exchanges must be done within 24 hours of the start of class. All Fall & Spring returns or exchanges must be done within 7 days of the start of class. All returns and exchanges must be accompanied by an original sales receipt. Purchase return tendered by credit/debit cards must be presented with the original credit/debit card in addition to the original receipt.
All sales are final on general reference books and materials.
Gifts & Accessories
All accessory and gift returns must be done within 5 business days of purchase with a receipt and must be in original saleable condition. Sealed packages cannot be returned open unless items are found to be defective.
At the end of each college semester, the Bookstore offers to buy your used textbooks . Please note that some textbooks will not be bought back at the Bookstore’s discretion, based on condition, need and other variables. A College photo ID must be presented when doing textbook buyback.
The SCCC Bookstore accepts cash, personal checks (with photo driver’s license), Mastercard, Visa, Discover and American Express. There is a $25.00 return check fee and collection in full will be handled by a collection agency.
