Registration going on now!

The summer sessions are a great way to catch up on credits or get ahead. Visiting students will see a significant savings over the cost of their 4-year institution. Seats are available for both in-person and online summer courses. See the summer course schedule for a complete listing of courses.

SUMMER SESSION I: May 21 thru June 25
SUMMER SESSION II: July 9 thru August 9
SUMMER SESSION III: June 25 thru August 8

Payment is due any time before the session begins.

Please note: Offices will be closed on Fridays from June 1 through July 6. Regular Friday office hours will resume on July 13. The campus will run on regular business hours Monday through Thursday. Click for details.

How to Register Online

Current SCCC Student: Go online and register for summer courses on the student portal at or visit the Counseling and Advising Center in the Administration Building.

Visiting Student (students enrolled at a 4-year college or university):
• Fill out a Visiting Student Application on the student portal.
• Student must have a current college email.
• An email will soon follow with student information and shortly after, login information.
• Follow the necessary instructions to register for courses.

Returning Visiting Student: (students that have taken classes at SCCC and are currently attending a two- or four year college or university)
• The student must send an email from their current college email to Todd Poltersdorf, Director of Admissions, at and let him know they want to take a course.
• The Admissions Office will email the registration process to the student to complete, which will include their passwords and how to access the student Portal and CANVAS.

If a student cannot register online due to an unmet pre-requisite, the student needs to email from their college email with their Name, SCCC ID #, Course Code/Number and Section number of the class they wish to take.

New students: Students who are not attending a 4-year college or university and would like to begin their education at SCCC should begin with the Admissions Office.
