Visiting and Non-Degree Students

RETURNING VISITING STUDENT

A Returning Visiting Student is a student who is attending another college or university, either a two-year or four-year, who wants to take winterim or summer classes and who has already taken classes at SCCC.

To register for class:

  • You do not need to reapply
  • Email the Director of Admissions, Todd Poltersdorf, at tpoltersdorf@sussex.edu and indicate you want to take a summer or winterim class
  • To register in person, visit the Student Advising and Counseling Center

The Admissions Office will email you the instructions to complete the registration process, which will include passwords on how to access WebStudy, the online learning system.

NEW VISITING STUDENT

A New Visiting Student is a student who is attending another college or university, either a two-year or four-year who wants to take winterim or summer classes. Welcome to SCCC! We are pleased that you have chosen to expand your course portfolio with us.

To register for class:

  •  APPLY NOW and fill out the online application. The Admissions Status will indicate you are a Visiting Student, please also indicate that in the Comments box along with the college your are currently attending
  • Check with your home college about transferability of classes taken at SCCC
  • You will get three emails. The first will be a disclaimer email, second, a directions email and last your password email.  Once you receive all three you will be able to register online. 
  • To register in person, visit the Student Advising and Counseling Center.

TO REGISTER FOR A CLASS ONLINE OR TO TAKE A CLASS (and are not seeking to complete a degree)
