Adjunct - Agriculture Business/ Horticulture Science

Job Description

Sussex County Community College is currently looking for Adjunct Professors to teach core courses within the Agriculture Business/Horticulture Science degrees this upcoming Spring Semester, starting January 2025.

Qualifications:

• Prefer Associates’, Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Agriculture Business, Horticulture Science, Agronomy, Plant Pathology, Crop and Plant Science, Soil Science, Agroecology or another closely related field.
• Significant field experience in horticultural or agricultural may be substituted for degree if equivalence is met.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience working in the field or horticulture, agriculture or ecology.
• Willing to participate in horticulture and agriculture initiatives on campus and in our community.
