Adjunct - Art Sculpture 3D

Job Description

Sussex County Community College currently has a position opening for an adjunct instructor to teach the Fine Art courses in traditional and contemporary sculpture/3D design methods, concepts, aesthetics and craftsmanship in various processes on our Newton campus starting in Fall 2024.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Fine Art with a specialization in traditional and contemporary sculpture/3D design methods, concepts, aesthetics and craftsmanship in various processes, or a related field. A Bachelor’s degree will be considered with sufficient experience.
• Computer/technological and computer aided design skills are preferred.

Required Education/Experience by Discipline:

Applicants must have a Master's degree in Fine Art with a traditional and contemporary sculpture/3D design, or a related field. A Bachelor’s degree will be considered with sufficient experience.

Two years teaching experience is preferred (especially at the collegiate level). Experience teaching college level sculpture/3D Design classes is greatly preferred.  

Education:

Master’s preferred, or current enrollment in a Master’s program
