Sussex County Community College is in immediate need to hire a qualified applicant to teach Business - Mgmt. & Organizational Behavior (BUSA211) in person, on campus, this Spring (2025). Starting on January 21st, 2025*
This course is scheduled to run on Tuesday’s and Thursday’s from 1:40pm to 2:55pm.
*Immediate consideration and communication will be given to applicants with the availability and qualifications to teach in-person, on campus this spring.
The spring semester starts on January 21st, 2025. Future courses may be offered in the Fall of 2025 – which may include other business courses. These courses may be offered online, remotely, and in person. However future semesters may require in-person day and evening sections as well as online. NOTE: Qualified and eligible applicants may be contacted at a future date.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications Master's Degree or related degree Business, Management, or related discipline.
Preferred Qualifications & Special Considerations; expertise in teaching Business and Management, Organizational Behavior, online/remote teaching, advanced certifications, or license, and a flexible schedule (morning, afternoon, evening and weekend courses may be available). Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills needed. 3+ years of applicable experience and prior teaching experience is strongly preferred.
The Learning Management System (LMS) that we use for our online and remote teaching is Canvas. Prior knowledge of Canvas or similar learning platform is preferred. Although not a requirement strong technical and computer proficiency is recommended.
