Adjunct - Graphic Design

Job Description

Sussex County Community College currently has a position opening for an adjunct instructor to teach Graphic Design courses in Presentation and Print Production, Advertising and Packaging Design, Typography and Layout, among others on our Newton campus.

Required Education/Experience by Discipline

• Master's (Preferred) or current enrollment in a Master’s program

Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in Fine Art with a specialization in Graphic Design or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.

Qualifications

• Computer/technological and computer aided design skills are required.
• Apple and MS Surface Studio proficiency are required.
• Ability to teach UX/UI and animation a plus.
• Two years teaching experience is preferred (especially at the collegiate level). Experience teaching college level Advertising and Packaging Design, Typography and Layout, Presentation and Print Production and other Graphic Design classes is greatly preferred.
