Job Description

Sussex County Community College currently has a position opening for an adjunct instructor to teach the Fine Art courses in traditional and contemporary Printmaking methods, concepts, aesthetics and craftsmanship in various printmaking processes including Relief, Intaglio, Screen printing, Alternative Processes and Monotype on our Newton campus.

  • Master's degree in Fine Art with a specialization in traditional and contemporary Printmaking methods, concepts, aesthetics and craftsmanship in various printmaking processes, or a related field. A Bachelor’s degree will be considered with sufficient experience.
  • Computer/technological and computer aided design skills are preferred.

Required Education/Experience by Discipline

Applicants must have a Master's degree in Fine Art with a specialization Printmaking, Silkscreen or a related field. A Bachelor’s degree will be considered with sufficient experience.

Two years teaching experience is preferred (especially at the collegiate level). Experience teaching college level Printmaking classes is greatly preferred.  

Education

Master’s preferred, or current enrollment in a Master’s program
