Job Description: Federal Work Study Position for Currently Enrolled and Eligible SCCC Students Only*

Work Study positions available at the SCCC Academic Affairs Office – Receptionist / Administrative Assistant. Student to assist in greeting visitors in the Academic Affairs Office, data entry, office tasks and answering phones. Student should have experience with Microsoft Office.

 

*Federal Work-Study:

Federal Work-Study allows eligible students to earn money to help cover educational expenses by working within the college campus. Work Study Funds are paid directly to the student on a twice-monthly basis as earned. Federal Work Study Students will earn NJ Minimum Wage.

To be eligible for Work-Study, you must:

  • Be a currently enrolled undergraduate student
  • Meet and maintain all SCCC Financial Aid Eligibility Requirements
  • Submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
  • Demonstrate financial need
  • Complete the verification process (if chosen)

Due to limited funding, not all students who are eligible will receive this award. If you are not awarded Work-Study, other employment opportunities are also available.

 

How to apply:

To be considered for work-study, you must submit the 2020/2021 FAFSA at StudentAid.gov

After your FAFSA has successfully processed and you have enrolled in courses for the SPRING 2020 semester, email the SCCC Financial Aid Office at: finaid@sussex.edu to inquire about your eligibility or call the Financial Aid Office 973-300-2227.
