Federal Work Study / Student Worker Position for the Communications Department – Film Tech

 

 

Federal Work Study Position for Currently Enrolled and Eligible SCCC Students Only*

Work Study positions available at the SCCC Communications Department – Film Tech. Assist in the logistical and post-production of student films. Knowledge of film editing programs required.

 

*Federal Work-Study:

Federal Work-Study allows eligible students to earn money to help cover educational expenses by working within the college campus. Work Study Funds are paid directly to the student on a twice-monthly basis as earned.

To be eligible for Work-Study, you must:

  • Be a currently enrolled undergraduate student
  • Meet and maintain all SCCC Financial Aid Eligibility Requirements
  • Submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
  • Demonstrate financial need
  • Complete the verification process (if chosen)

Due to limited funding, not all students who are eligible will receive this award. If you are not awarded Work-Study, other employment opportunities are also available.

 

How to apply:

To be considered for work-study, you must submit the FAFSA at FAFSA.ed.gov

After your FAFSA has successfully processed and you have enrolled in courses for the FALL 2019 semester, email the SCCC Financial Aid Office at: finaid@sussex.edu to inquire about your eligibility or stop by the Financial Aid Office in B-212.
