As part of the Community College Opportunity Grant Program (CCOG), the Financial Onboarding Specialist guides and assists students and parents regarding the financial aid process, and provides information on available programs and procedures regarding financial aid resources.
The position provides hands-on assistance with the completion of the FAFSA and NJ Financial Aid Form(s). The FAFSA Coach will identify and communicate with student who have not filed a FAFSA and will work with students to complete financial aid verification. Essential Skills:
Preferred Skills: Knowledge of FERPA regulations, working experience in higher education environment preferred. Knowledge of student recruitment and retention issues. Evening and weekend availability. Bilingual Skills (written and spoken) preferred
