Job Description

The Head Golf Coach is responsible for preparing and training the golf team to perform competitively throughout the season. The ideal candidate will possess a strong knowledge of the sport, excellent motivational skills, and the ability to foster teamwork.

Main Duties:

- Recruit student-athletes for the golf team.

- Conduct engaging and effective practice sessions.

- Coordinate game and practice schedules.

- Oversee equipment management and provide recommendations as needed.

- Transport student-athletes to and from games and practices, if required.

- Supervise the coaching staff.

- Maintain a solid background in the sport and demonstrate a willingness to embrace new ideas and philosophies.

- Exhibit excellent communication skills and the ability to connect with students.

- Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Previous playing/coaching of respective sport preferred.  Knowledge of rules associated with sports is required.  A valid driver’s license is required.

Salary:  $7500.00 per season
