Overview:
The Head Coach for the Women’s Volleyball team is responsible for preparing and training the team to compete strongly throughout their season. The ideal candidate should possess a strong knowledge of the sport, excellent motivational skills, and the ability to foster teamwork.
Main Duties:
- Recruit student-athletes for the Women’s Volleyball program.
- Conduct productive practice sessions.
- Coordinate game and practice schedules.
- Oversee the management of equipment and provide recommendations as needed.
- Transport student-athletes to and from games and practices as necessary.
- Supervise the coaching staff.
- Have a solid background in volleyball and a willingness to embrace new ideas and philosophies.
- Communicate effectively and relate well to students.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Previous playing/coaching of respective sport preferred. Knowledge of rules associated with sports is required. A valid driver’s license is required.
