Job Description

Sussex County Community College is currently seeking Student Workers for a 10-hour/week Marketing Associate position.  This position will extend the needs of the Marketing Department for the 2019-2020 Academic Year. This position will assist in campus news, basic press releases, spotlight stories, and campus photos to support the stories.  Additional campus photo needs will be addressed throughout the semester.

Main Duties:

  • Assist in the development of the College's press releases for campus events/news.
  • Help to promote events through photo images used for the College website and social media channels.
  • Coordinate with faculty for interviews on their career advancements.
  • Help to distribute marketing materials throughout campus.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Marketing to create innovative content/ideas.
  • May require some evening or weekend hours for event coverage.
  • Assist the Marketing Department on other duties as needed.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Journalism student with photography experience.
  • 2nd Year Student preferred but will consider experience.
  • Ability to be flexible with schedule.
