Sussex County Community College (SCCC) is proud to announce a generous pledge from the Avondoglio Family and the Perona Farms Foundation, committing $10,000 annually for the next three years. The total gift of $30,000 will benefit the SCCC Culinary Institute.
This philanthropic investment will directly support the salary of a Hospitality Supervisor, an essential role in sustaining the scope and quality of the Culinary Institute. As the Institute continues to expand, additional faculty and staff are vital to meeting the educational and operational needs of the programs, which have quickly become a valued fixture in the community.
“We are deeply grateful to the Avondoglio Family and the Perona Farms Foundation for their supportive and loyal leadership,” said SCCC Executive Foundation Director Stan Kula. “Their vision and generosity will help ensure the continued success of the Culinary Institute, which is training the next generation of culinary and hospitality professionals.”
Martin Kester, SCCC’s Culinary Institute Administrator, added, “Perona Farms has been a strong advocate for these programs and the SCCC Culinary Institute from its inception and throughout its growth. We’re grateful for their generous support and continued partnership.”
Perona Farms’ longstanding commitment to culinary excellence and education mirrors the mission of the SCCC Culinary Institute, creating a partnership that strengthens workforce development and enriches the local community.
