The Sussex County Community College Film Festival cordially invites filmmakers from local, regional, and international spheres to submit their independent films for the Spring Film Festival, which will take place on April 16 from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. and April 19 from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. in the Student Center Theater.

SCCC is committed to inspiring the next generation of filmmakers and film enthusiasts. Attendees will enjoy a dynamic lineup of short, documentary, and experimental film screenings curated by SCCC faculty and students in various disciplines.

Each screening segment will be followed by engaging panel discussions and Q&A sessions led by faculty, promoting meaningful dialogue and interdisciplinary connection of the visual arts, humanities, and technical aspects of film. The festival showcases the talents of filmmakers from novice to professional and provides an excellent opportunity to network with fellow cinema lovers in the New Jersey/TriState Area.

The SCCC Film Festival aims to allow filmmakers to screen their work in a supportive environment. It also seeks to encourage the art of filmmaking and the exploration of innovative ideas and viewpoints in our community. The screenings will be free and open to the public.
