The Alpha Arts Institute at Sussex County Community College is excited to premier the Alpha Arts Film Festival (AAFF) and is currently seeking film submissions from local, national and international filmmakers. The newly established Alpha Arts Film Festival aims to develop a vibrant environment for the production, discussion and screening of student, amateur and professional films.
The Alpha Arts Film Festival will take place May 4-7, at Sussex County Community College. Selected films will be screened at the college's Student Center Theater, which has recently been upgraded with state-of-the-art audio-visual equipment, including an 18-foot screen and an HD laser projector.
The AAFF features category film competitions for professionals, amateurs, and students. Jurors, guest lecturers, faculty and teachers provide an opportunity for students and aspiring filmmakers to receive feedback from peers and professionals alike.

The submission period closes April 5 with the possibility of late submissions for an additional two weeks. Filmmakers will be notified of their film’s selection to the schedule by April 19.
A standard entry fee of $20 per film submission, reduced to $10 for students. Late Submission can be submitted for an additional $5.
