Fall Orientation scheduled for 8/28

Sussex County Community College (SCCC) will hold their Fall Orientation for new and transfer students on Wednesday, August 28 with check-in starting at 9:00 am. Over 600 students are invited to gather under the pavilion for this year’s Fall Orientation.

Information session Speakers for the event included Dr. Jon Connolly, president; Dr. Kathleen Okay, vice president of Student Services; Amy Rude, assistant director of Campus Life; Fred Mamay, director of Campus Safety and Security; and Cheyanne Port, president of the Student Government Association (SGA).

Students will be divided into groups to participate in

interactive games and activities throughout the day that will give students a chance to engage with other classmates.

Classes for the fall semester begin on Tuesday, September 3.  Check the College website for extended office hours during this time. Visit sussex.edu for more information.

Sussex County Community College (SCCC) will hold extended office hours August 1 through September 7 to accommodate students who would like to register for the fall 2019 semester. These extended hours are as follows:

The following offices will be open for the extended hours; Advising and Counseling Center, Bursar’s Office, Financial Aid, and the Registrar’s Office. Please note the College will be closed on September 2 for Labor Day.
