See your advisor and create your academic plan

2/25/2019 2:44:48 PM

The key to success at Sussex County Community College is making sure you have an academic plan in place for your next few semesters and beyond. Academic planning helps you map out the courses you will need, and when you should take them, in order to fulfill your degree requirements.

What will my advisor do?

All current students are encouraged to see their academic advisor before registration opens for the fall semester.

How do I find my Advisor?

Advisor assignments are listed on your Student Portal under the Student Tab - Advising Information. Make sure to make an appointment within the next few weeks and visit with your assigned advisor.

What happens after I see my Advisor?

Fall registration will open for current students on April 1 and continue through April 12, this is known as Priority Registration. Your advisor will prepare you for Priority Registration so you can get the classes you will need and to secure a great schedule before registration opens to the community.

Course listings for the fall semester will be available on the student portal soon.
