What do Robotics/Electro-mechanical technicians do?
Robotics is a blend of many different fields. Students will acquire knowledge of mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, as well as computer science & cognitive psychology. The field also overlaps largely with artificial intelligence, mechatronics, nanotechnology, and bioengineering.

Robotics/Electro-mechanical technicians

  • test, operate, or maintain robotic equipment at worksites.
    install, repair, upgrade, and test electronic and computer-controlled
    mechanical systems.
  • combine knowledge of mechanical technology with knowledge
    of electrical and electronic circuits. They operate,
  • test, and maintain unmanned, automated, robotic, or electromechanical
    equipment
