FAFSA Workshops

The 2025-2026 FAFSA is now available for completion. You may register for a workshop below.

If you need to complete a 2024-2025 FAFSA for the current academic year, please let us know when you arrive to the workshop.

Please select and register for the date you wish to attend below. Workshops are held on Wednesdays at 6 p.m. in the Administration Building, Room B315.

For the 2025-26 FAFSA, you will need the following:

  1. Students and parents must create an FSA ID and Password 3-5 days prior to completing the FAFSA application.  You may do this at www.studentaid.gov .  If you already have an FSA ID and Password, be sure to bring it with you to the workshop.  For a tutorial on how to create an FSA ID, go to https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pitb_aIQBVc .
  2. The student and parent must have access to their cell phones and email accounts.  This is more important than ever, as your parents or spouse will now be referred to as "contributors."  You will be "inviting them by email" to complete their section of the FAFSA.  Be sure that cell phones are charged, as you will need to retrieve a "Secure Code" from your phones to access the FAFSA application.
  3. Bring all income documents with you, such as:
    • 2023 federal tax return
    • 2023 W-2 forms
    • Know your parents' or spouse's names, dates of birth, Social Security Numbers, and email addresses, as you will be setting them up as "contributors" on the FAFSA form.
    • Know the amount of child support your family received between January and December of 2024.
    • Know the balances for checking, savings, and any investment accounts, such as CDs or 529 Plans, for you, your siblings, and your contributors. No retirement accounts are necessary.
    • If you own property in addition to your primary residence or rent out part of your primary residence you will need to know the current market value and current principal mortgage balance on your investment property.
    • If you have a business or farm you will need to know the current market value minus any outstanding principal mortgage balance or debt against the business or farm.
