Public Safety Telecommunicator & Emergency Medical Dispatch

Tactical Emergency Casualty Care (TECC) | Open Registration

The TECC-LEO course covers the three phases of tactical care while integrating EMS terminology. It emphasizes the MARCH assessment, hemorrhage control, non-invasive airway management, pediatric considerations, treating wounded first responders, operating in high-threat environments, and drag-and-carry techniques.

Hands-On Training Includes:

Self-application and partner application of tourniquets
Wound packing using simulators
Chest seal application
Scenario-based live application of bleeding control interventions
Students will identify wounds and apply the appropriate interventions in dynamic training scenarios.
